The NCAHL Inc. Wake Forest Tournament brings together hockey players, families, volunteers, and community partners for a weekend focused on inclusion, teamwork, and the love of the game. Held at The Factory in Wake Forest, the tournament features exciting adult coed hockey, special guests, community activities, and opportunities to support individuals with autism and other special needs.

More than a hockey tournament, the event helps NCAHL Inc. provide sensory tools, adaptive equipment, inclusive programs, and meaningful community experiences. Through the generosity of players, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, the Wake Forest Tournament creates a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to participate, connect, and feel valued.

This April, NCAHL Inc. is proud to join the Greensboro Gargoyles and the Carolina Hurricanes Warriors for Rink of Dreams—a special day where hockey, inclusion, and community come together. Players will have the opportunity to take the ice in an exciting, supportive environment while celebrating the teamwork, determination, and friendships that make hockey so meaningful.

Rink of Dreams is about more than the game. It is a chance to recognize our local teams, honor the strength of our military veterans, and create unforgettable memories for athletes and families of all abilities. Together, the Greensboro Gargoyles, Carolina Hurricanes Warriors, and NCAHL Inc. are helping make the rink a place where everyone can feel welcomed, valued, and inspired.

NCAHL Inc. is proud to bring our inclusive hockey tournament to Winston-Salem, creating a welcoming environment where players, families, volunteers, and community partners can come together through the game of hockey. Our events promote acceptance, teamwork, and inclusion while raising awareness and support for individuals with autism, special needs, PTSD, and social anxiety. We also provide sensory-friendly resources and meaningful opportunities for participants to feel supported both on and off the ice.

Hosting our tournament on the same ice where the Carolina Thunderbirds play makes the experience even more memorable. Players have the opportunity to compete in a professional hockey setting, create lasting memories, and experience the excitement of skating where local hockey heroes take the ice. For NCAHL Inc., the Winston-Salem tournament is about more than hockey—it is about building confidence, strengthening the community, and giving everyone a place to belong

Today was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Our Fantastic Sam’s Back-to-School Haircut Event was an incredible success, providing children with fresh haircuts, smiles, and a boost of confidence as they prepare for the new school year. Every child deserves to feel proud and confident walking into the classroom, and thanks to the generosity and dedication of so many amazing people, we were able to help make that happen.

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community partners.
